Looking for a maple to complete your landscape? Look no further than the Rocky Mountain maple. This tree is native to Wyoming and found across the state, usually in areas between 5,000 and 10,000 feet. The careful eye can spot several of these growing on Casper Mountain.
The Rocky Mountain Maple is perfect for smaller landscapes. The mature height of the tree is generally 20-30 feet tall. It can be grown in both a tree form with a single trunk or as a more native multi-stemmed shrub held to 5 to 6.5 feet tall.
If you already have aspen, chokecherry, or spruce and/or fir in your landscape then you might find the Rocky Mountain Maple to be the perfect addition.
