Black Hills Spruce is a variety of white spruce that is native to the Black Hills of South Dakota. It typically grows in a dense, narrow form and achieves a height of 30’–50′. The Black Hills Spruce is an extremely hardy conifer, custom made for Wyoming due to its high resistance to winter injury. This versatile tree works well as a windbreak, privacy screen, accent planting, or a centerpiece in any home landscape.
