Dwarf Blue Rabbitbrush
Chrysothamnus nauseosus var. nauseosus
2 feet high x 2 feet wide
Plant Select® 2011! A native to Wyoming’s driest ecosystems, rabbitbrush can tolerate poor soils and high winds and still be a champ! Dwarf Blue is smaller in structure, more compact, and more silvery-blue than the species. In autumn, expect bright yellow flowers. Once established, it will need no supplemental watering, but can handle twice monthly watering. Will perform poorly if placed in a garden that requires frequent irrigations.
