Honeycrisp is a hybrid cross developed at the University of Minnesota in 1991. This is a large red apple mottled over yellow that is exceptionally crisp and juicy; the flavor is sweet but well balanced. Outstanding for fresh eating and stores till March! Honeycrisp has become a favorite among home orchard enthusiasts. Needs another apple tree or crabapple tree for pollination.
