Prunus salicina ‘Superior’
H: 20 feet W: 15 feet
Superior Plum produces large fruit with dark red skin and super-sweet yellow flesh that is full-bodied and juicy. An ideal plum for eating off the tree and is also excellent for jam, jelly, and desserts. A consistent, heavy bearer, the abundant crops should be thinned in early summer and are ready for picking in late August. Pair with Toka plum for good cross-pollination. Clingstone.
